Turok 2 Online Multiplayer Comes to Switch Tomorrow
See No Evil
Turok 2 online multiplayer is all set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch tomorrow and that’s not all that’s on the way — both of the franchise’s first two games are making their way to PlayStation on the same day.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a first-person shooter that has players engage in the reprehensible hunting of dinosaurs (and other bad guys). That game was then followed by Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, a title that expanded on the successes of its predecessor and launched with a robust multiplayer mode.
Both of the first two games have been seeing some revived interest after they were released for PC and modern consoles. PlayStation was originally left out of the running, but that will be fixed tomorrow — along with the addition of Turok 2 multiplayer on the Nintendo Switch.
Turok 2 Online Multiplayer Coming in Nintendo Switch Patch
The debut of Turok 2 online multiplayer will finally let you blast your friends to bits on the Nintendo Switch. This feature is arriving as part of a patch tomorrow and is the most substantive part of the update, although it’s not the only thing that’s on the way.
Tomorrow’s Nintendo Switch patch will also feature the following changes and additions to the game:
- Re-enabled German audio localization
- Support for gyro for some third-party controllers such as the Hori Splitpad in handheld mode
- Stability
Turok Comes to PlayStation
Nintendo isn’t the only console getting some love! Gematsu reports that Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are both coming to the PlayStation Store tomorrow, expanding the possibilities of playing this game for people who might not have a gaming PC or a Nintendo Switch.
We here at TechRaptor don’t condone shooting dinosaurs with horrifying alien weapons. That said, they’re sure to serve as challenging opponents — you can enjoy the new online multiplayer feature by buying Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for the Nintendo Switch at the price of $19.99 or your regional equivalent.
