Trademark Reveals Unannounced Jurassic World Primal Ops Game
It’s Good Time to be a Jurassic Park Fan
Every so often, a new, unannounced game slips through the cracks, be it through a retailer listing or age rating. This time, a trademark reveals that a new title taking place in the Jurassic World Universe is on the way.
According to an official trademark listing available to the public, Jurassic World is getting another game for this wildly popular series. The title is Jurassic World Primal Ops. The parties filing Jurassic World Primal Ops are Amblin’ Entertainment and Universal City Studios LLC, which have both been involved with Jurassic Park and its properties since the inception of the series.
While we have no other information on the content of the title, the trademark, which was filed late last month, is listed for a video game of some sort; unfortunately, it’s impossible to tell what platform it would land on or even when it would arrive. We can only speculate on the content of this title, but Primal Ops could mean that players take the role of a human in a squad of some sort. Perhaps they will have to respond to disturbances in the park. When dealing with Jurassic Park and World, it’s inevitable that dinosaurs escape captivity.
Jurassic World games are nothing new, and we have an officially announced title on the way. Jurassic World Evolution 2 releases on November 9, 2021. This is a sequel to Frontier’s Jurassic World Evolution, which tasks players with creating their own park filled with all kinds of dinosaurs, and was announced at the Summer Game Fest. There’s also plenty of other titles in this established series, such as LEGO Jurassic World. There’s even a Minecraft mod for the series that lets you create your own park. In short, it’s not surprising that a new game is coming at some point.
