Xiaomi on Monday launched a new smartphone in India. Called Redmi Note 7S, it is the second Xiaomi smartphone in India to sport 48-megapixel camera. The smartphone also features glass back panel and has rear fingerprint sensor.
Price and availability
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s will be available in 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants. The base model is priced at Rs 10,999. The 4GB?model is priced at Rs 12,999. The phone will be available in Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red, Onyx Black colour variants.Redmi Note 7S goes on sale starting 12 PM May 23 across Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Homes, with availability in offline stores to start the next day, onwards.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S: Full specifications
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with dot notch on the front. The front and back are protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, Redmi Note 7S comes in two variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Redmi Note 7S also has a 4,000mAh battery with Type-C and Quick Charge 4.0 support.
In the camera department, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S comes with 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras with PDAF, EIS and AI portrait mode. On the front, Redmi Note 7S has a 13-megapixel selfie camera with AI portrait mode support.
Other important features of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S include fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock, dual-SIM (hybrid slot), VoLTE, P2i splash-resistant coating, and IR blaster.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a similar set of specifications. It also has a 6.3-inch dot notch display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor with up to 6GB of RAM.
In the camera department, Redmi Note 7 Pro offers 48-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear cameras. On the front it has a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include a 4,000mAh battery, Type-C Port, and gradient glass back finish.
