Dead by Daylight to add Stranger Things characters in upcoming update

The Demogorgon will soon stalk Nancy and Steve around the Hawkings National Laboratory

Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight that has four players teaming up to avoid a savage killer (played by another player) across an open-world level to open an exit and escape has announced a new update that will see characters from Stranger Things added into the game.

Dead by Daylight has already made a name for itself by introducing several interesting properties into the game. Previous all-stars have included Halloween’s Michael Myers, A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Kruger, Scream’s Ghostface and even Evil Dead’s pop culture icon Ash.

Now The Demogorgon from Season 1 of Stranger Things along with Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington will be added into the game. The Hawkins National Laboratory will also be a playable level in the game.

In Dead by Daylight, four players team up against a savage killer who stalks them through a level. The killer is also controlled by another player and has access to a range of abilities depending on the killer he chooses. The survivor characters are usually weaker and have to rely on cunning, traps and intelligence to outmanoeuvre their foe. The end game for the survivors if to open an exit and escape alive, while the killer needs to off everyone to win.
