Warhammer Fest Online moves into its fourth day with Games Workshop showing some support to several of their spin-off games set in the dark sci-fi world of Warhammer 40,000.

After the stream casually revealed a new warband expansion for the Warhammer Underworlds board game, the presentation pivoted to a brand new collection of units and faction tome for the Warhammer 40,000 spin-off Necromunda. For those not aware, Necromunda is a smaller skirmish-based wargame. Armies are made up of roughly nine units, and the maps and rules focus more on close quarters and 3D environmental navigation. The new tome titled House of Shadows introduces the faction of House Delaque into the game. They are the spymasters of Necromunda, their units focusing entirely on close-quarters assassination and reconnaissance.

Curiously, it seems that the gathering of crucial information doesn’t just give House Delaque battlefield information but grants them a form of psychic power that provides a knock-on effect to their units. This psychic power seems to come from their Psy-Gheist units, who are accompanied by metallic monstrosities known as Psychoteric Wyrms and Piscean Spektors. For those who say knowledge is power, it looks like the House of Shadows tome is something to look out for.

As the stream continued, the hosts shifted to another Warhammer 40,000 spin-off, the dogfighting airship game, Aeronautica Imperialis. Two new factions of aircraft will be entering the game thanks to the latest expansion called Wrath of the Angels. The first is the de facto mascots of the entire franchise, the Space Marines, and the second is the Aeldari aka the space elves. This expansion will also include the Space Marine’s iconic Thunderhawk gunship, so fans and collectors alike have another reason to pick this up. Considering Aeronautica Imperialis includes units from the Tau, the Imperial Guard, and even the Orks, it’s odd that it took this long for Space Marines to be included, but better late than never.
