It’s almost time for PC gamers to swing into action! Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is headed to PC next month, and the developers at Insomniac Games revealed not only a new trailer but some of the stunning new features coming to the game. The devs have also released the computer specs information pertaining to the game.

With a new game, comes some intriguing new graphical specs and features! Some of the visuals that have been updated include the unlocking of frame rates, improved graphics such as the player’s movements and shadows while they swing from their web across the city, and even ray-traced reflections available for those who have a computer that can hang with the big boys.

NVIDIA DLSS, or Deep Learning Super Sampling, will increase the game’s graphical performance using dedicated processors boosting both the player’s frame rates and the quality of graphics. The devs also announced that their game will support the use of ultra-wide and panoramic monitors, meaning even those who have three screens are included in the fun!

Not only are there some significant graphical, visual, and audio upgrades, but the game will also come with an array of new features for players to make the most of. Scale buildings and skyscrapers, swing through the Big Apple with ease, battle against well-known and lesser-known enemies, and defend the city from criminals and unnecessary violence.

For those wondering if their computer can handle the heat, here is a quick breakdown of the minimum spec requirements for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC:

64-bit processor and operating system
Intel Core i3-4160, 3.6 GHz or AMD equivalent
8 GB RAM
NVIDIA GTX 950 or AMD Radeon RX 470
75 GB available space

The game is currently available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for pre-purchase ($59.99), and those who decide to splurge now will receive some amazing bonus content. Included in the bonus content are three Spider-Man suits for players to customize their hero, including the Iron Spider suit, Spider-Punk suit, and the Velocity suit. Players who pre-purchase will also gain early access to the use of the Spider-Drone gadget, which defends Spider-Man in battle by attacking any enemies who may be standing in the player’s path. Five skill points will also be granted to those who get in on the action early, which can be spent on new abilities for Spider-Man to use right at the start of the game rather than waiting to collect those points over time. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will release on PC on August 12, 2022.
