Gears 5 Available for Pre-Order in India

Gears 5 is now available for pre-order in India. A physical copy of Gears 5, available through Games the Shop, is priced at Rs. 3,999, and will be shipped on September 10. The Ultimate Edition is also available for pre-order, but doesn’t yet have its pricing listed. Gears 5 will also be available on Xbox One and PC through Games Pass on launch day.
Gears 5 will have a number of game modes at launch, including Campaign, Versus, Horde, a Map Builder, and most interestingly, a new game mode called Escape. Escape was revealed during E3 2019, and is described as a high-stakes co-op mode featuring a three-player suicide squad that must work together to take out enemy hives from within.
Microsoft also released a demo of sorts last month through the Gears 5 Tech Test, which allowed players to not only try the Versus mode out for themselves, but also acted as a way to test the game’s server capabilities. The Tech Test includes Escalation mode matches, the new Arcade mode, and King of the Hill mode.
If you’re looking to catch up on the franchise, all the previous Gears of War games are available on Xbox Games Pass. August’s Games with Gold also includes Gears of War 4.
