Lenovo Takes On The iPad Air With The $499 Tab P11 Pro
There’s no denying that when it comes to tablets, Apple’s iPad is leading the charge. However, if you’d rather not buying into Apple’s ecosystem then you might be interested to learn that Lenovo has since announced a new tablet that might be worthy of consideration for Android users.
This comes in the form of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro which is priced at $499, making it a decent alternative to Apple’s iPad Air with some compelling specs. For starters, it sports an 11.5-inch display, bringing it closer to the iPad Pro’s screen size, but it has the added bonus of an OLED screen that should make colors look richer and more saturated, perfect for playing games and watching videos.
The Tab P11 Pro will also feature four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos, which on paper sounds rather promising. However, under the hood, the tablet isn’t sporting flagship hardware but will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, the same one used in Google’s Pixel 4a. It will also come with 4GB or 6GB worth of RAM, and a massive 8,600mAh battery that the company claims will offer up to 15 hours of battery life.
The tablet will also be sold alongside optional accessories like a detachable keyboard and a stylus for those who are looking for a potential laptop replacement, all of which will cost you a total of $599.99 for the entire bundle.
